THE SOLAR SYSTEM The Solar System is made up of the Sun and the planets. There are also satellites,asteroids and comets. The planets are:Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter, Saturn,Uranus and Neptune.

THE SEASONS The Earth orbits the Sun, this causes the four seasons:spring,summer,autumn and winter.

DAY AND NIGHT The Earth's rotation causes day and night.The Earth takes 24 hours to complete one rotation.

THE PHASES OF THE MOON The phases of the Moon are: Full Moon,Waning Moon,New Moon and Waxing Moon.
