And Then There Were None By: Jeanne L. De’ja W Ashley M. Bridget V.

Introduction Our novel, And Then There Were None, by Agatha Christie, 10 people were invited to Indian Island, by the American Millionaire, Young Elmer Robson. But, when they got there the millionaire wasn’t there. Each person has been accused of murder for one or more person. Day by day more and more have disappeared. With no clues of who done the crime, they remaining people on the island are left scared and with no where to turn to. Indian Island >>

Crime/Mystery Slowly, but yet quickly, people are disappearing day after day on Indian Island. Mystery The mystery is that no one knows who/or where the hostess to the house is. Or no one knows where the killer or the suspect is.

Problem The problem in our story is that no one can get off Indian Island where everyone is disappearing/dying. The ship that they called for never showed up, so everyone is stuck on Indian Island where they all were invited.

What Type Of Novel is: And Then There Were None? Our novel is a detective story because it follows a trail of clues, such as the poem in chapter two. Also it involves deductive intellect.

How is suspense/or uncertainty presented in your novel? Suspense and uncertainty is presented in our novel in many ways: There is a voice, in chapter three, causing uncertainty as to who it is and where it’s coming from. Suspense is presented in a way of having the reader curious as to who’s killing the people.

Clues What clues are presented in your novel? Clues that are presented in our novel, for one, is the voice. It’s a (big) clue because it tells you more about the characters. Another clue is they tell the killers profession. So, it gives you the reason he could have killed them. Also the killers last name was a clue. C L U E S !

How Was Your Mystery Solved? In the end, the murder, Mr. Justice Wargrave wrote a letter confessing his crime. The letter was found. Mr. Lawrence (Justice) Wargrave killed everyone in order to give them their payback for killing others. But, Mr. Wargrave, in the end, killed himself.
