OPPORTUNITY IN ADVERSITY Acts 28:17-30 Acts 28:30b-31a:“He welcomed all who visited him, boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God...” What do we understand from the text we have read? Adversity comes even when you have done nothing wrong. Persecution can come from your own kind. You will likely be persecuted at some point for your faith. Do your best to present Jesus to others through the scriptures and your personal encounter with Him. The scriptures will be fulfilled, no doubt, but you must play your part in the divine plan of God. Never let adversity deter you from exhibiting your gifts and being a blessing to those you have been sent to.

OPPORTUNITY IN ADVERSITY Acts 28:17-30 Acts 28:30b-31a:“He welcomed all who visited him, boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God...” What are some typical reactions when men face adversity?

David guarded the flocks of Nabal while in exile from Israel The widow of Zarephath prepared a meal for Elijah though she had no more food and was about to starve to death. Mordecai reported the conspiracy of the palace guards to murder King Ahasuerus while he was a captive in Media.
