Golden Line Exercise Read the excerpt from Malcolm X’s autobiography about his reading experience while he was in prison. Choose a single line from the text that you find particularly memorable or surprising. Highlight that line with a highlighter. In a short paragraph (at least five complete sentences), explain why you chose your golden line, and why you feel the line is memorable or surprising. Also, tell how Malcolm’s experience with reading is similar to or different from your own. Type your paragraph and attach it to the reading.
