The NBA’s new television rights deal (tied with the agreed upon revenue split between the players’ union and owners in the collective bargaining agreement) begins in the upcoming 2016-17 season and the extra revenue lifted the salary cap from $72 million to $94 million for every team. From European countries, Serbia has produced 25 players. Brazil is the leading South American contributor with a total of 17 players. Nigeria has produced the most NBA players of any African nation with 14 players, while Australia has produced a total of 18 players. Years Played per Player NBA Players come into the league most oftenly at a very young age and stay in the league for most of, if not all of their careers. Salary Cap Boost There's going to be a massive, one-time increase in the NBA's salary cap when the league's new television deal kicks in before the 2016-17 season, Brian Windhorst of ESPN reports.
