Monuments of Nevinnomyssk Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945 years liberation of the city Nevinnomyssky

Monument - an obelisk "Fire of Eternal Glory“ (Памятник – обелиск «Огонь Вечной Славы») Erected 6 November 1967 on the Boulevard of Peace. In November 1967, on the Boulevard of Peace was opened obelisk Eternal Glory. Eternal Flame soldier glory and immortality. The architect of the monument - Dmitry Zhuravlev, the artist - Yuri Untilov. On the same day the obelisk was opened post №1.

Monument "Memory Book" Erected in 2000 on the boulevard of the World. In honor of the Victory 55 was opened monument "Memory Book". On granite slabs book names 4003's nevinnomysstsev (невинномыссцев) killed on fields of battles and missing. Here the names of 83 soldiers of the Red Army, who died in the defense and liberation of the city. The monument is equipped with hidden speakers, imitating the sound of the human heart. Monument "Memory Book" - a concrete structure, which resembles an open book.

Monument "85-mm anti-aircraft gun“ (Памятник «85-мм зенитная пушка) In memory of the anti-aircraft gunners and cannon mounted on the Boulevard of Peace.  Erected 8 May 1981 on the Boulevard of Peace.

Monument - DOT Erected in 1985 on the right bank of the Kuban near the railway bridge. DOT was built in 1942 as a defensive structure to protect the bridge and is the only surviving in the Stavropol Territory. In the summer of 1942, broke through the defense of our troops, the Nazis moved to the Caucasus.

Mass graves (Братская могила) Here lie the bodies peaceful inhabitants, over which the Nazis retreated massacred. Inhuman flour had to experience these people before death occurred. Also buried here are several of the Soviet Army, including the name of the senior sergeant V.I.Titova, in whose honor was named one of the streets of our city.
