Brief History Georgia College – One of several ADP Founding Universities – 2003 Linked ADP to The Coverdell Institute – 2004 Four years of federal funding helped establish Institute and ADP programming and credibility Institute funding expired in 2007 New organizational strategy

Brief History ADP Civic Agency Initiative – 2008 Kettering Foundation Research Initiative - 2011 Focused on developing civic agency among: Faculty members – Partnerships & Workshops Students – Courses, Times Talk, & Election events Community – Public Deliberation Institution – Advocacy for civic language and goals in mission, vision, and QEP writing endeavors
