DAWSON “DK” CRAM

Dawson Cram Dawson comes from a long family history of stock car racing. His Dad, Kevin Cram is a former crew chief in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series having worked with some of the greatest drivers in NASCAR. Both of Dawson's grandfathers also raced stock cars for many years in the North East and in the South West. He also has three uncles who work directly in the sport of NASCAR and lend their support to his racing. Dawson is a rising 8th Grade student in Mooresville, NC. He also dedicates much of his time to coaching young Bandolero drivers and volunteering at his church. Dawson started racing in 2007 at the age of 5 in San Diego, CA in the Mini Dwarf Series on Southern California's dirt tracks. In 2009, his family relocated back to Mooresville, NC otherwise known as "Race City USA". Dawson began his asphalt racing career in 2010 in the INEX Bandolero division. In his Rookie season he scored 13 feature wins and earned his first Championship. Over the next 2 years he competed nationally in INEX Bandoleros winning multiple races and adding multiple Championship titles. He was chosen as the 2013 recipient of the Steve Carter Memorial Award for displaying outstanding sportsmanship amongst all competitors. He also holds the current track record at Langley Speedway in Virginia. At the start of the 2014 season, Dawson made the transition to move up into the INEX Legends Young Lions division. During his Rookie year in Legends cars he racked up several top 5 finishes, scored a win at the prestigious Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway and finished 3rd in Championship points at Concord Speedway.

Dawson Cram As Dawson’s racing career continues to grow, he has expanded his resume to include a full season of dirt track racing in the Mini Outlaw Kart Series and dirt Legends cars at Millbridge Speedway where he scored his first career win in a Legends car on dirt. In 2015 Dawson has run a full schedule in the INEX Legends car including the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout driving the Bojangles’ house car. He has also ran a limited schedule in the Winged Mini Outlaw karts, Southeast Super Truck Series and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
