JISC was a series of committees with different remits, we are still in the process of transition and rationalising our services. (Regional Support Centres) April 16, 2018 RSC’s (Regional Support Centres) Our 12 Regional Support Centres help learning providers to improve performance and efficiency through the use of technology – using advice, sharing good practice and facilitating good practice Raise awareness to enable Learning Providers to make informed decisions www.jisc.ac.uk/rsc As we move from services commissioned by the committee's to an integrated service, it is likely that the Regional Support Centres will become the customer face and initial contact for all of the jisc services. Talk about slide. We are not the experts, although we do have a wide range of discipline's within the RSC, but we are the enablers.

Legal - to ensure that legal issues do not become a barrier to the adoption and use of new information and communications technologies in education. Netskills - is a training and staff development service with 14 dedicated and expert staff based at Newcastle University. TechDis - is a leading UK advisory service on technologies for inclusion and accessibility. Mail - Email discussion lists for the UK Education and Research communities. Useful lists such as CMIS-NETWORK@JISCMAIL.AC.UK Collections - It supports the procurement of digital content for education and research in the UK. JANET Network & IT Services
