In the early 60`s already I spent countless hours in the the darkroom staring into the developers cup. Here, seemingly out of nowhere, Black & White prints appeared. Fascinating, even in today`s modern, digitalized world.

My focus as a photographer is: Landscapes in different light My focus as a photographer is: Landscapes in different light. Walking out with my camera when rarely another soul is doing it, because it is raining, too dark, too windy or whatever may serve as an excuse…. is what I like best.

With a little luck the cloudy sky will break up briefly, turning the ever present grey monotony into an exciting lightflooded three dimensional picture, waiting to be captured. My pictures are primarily taken in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany`s northernmost federal state. The big sky between the two seas, the crystal clear air, the lush colors and deserted beaches are a constant source of inspiration. This is what I call home.
