Purpose Of Lesson Part 3 To teach students the different types of storage medias used with computers and their different sizes.

WE WILL DISCUSSED Floppy drives Tape drives Compact Discs(CD) different physical sizes: CD, Laserdisc, mini disc. FLASH MEMORY: Ex: Flash Drives USB 1.0, 2.0, AND 3.0

Drives 31/2 inch floppy Typically remove from the front. OBSOLETE!

Saving Medias - Floppy Discs WHY DO WE CALL THEM FLOPPY DISCS? 31/2 inch 51/4 inch 8 inch

31/2 Inch Floppy Holds 1.44MB

Zip Drives 100MB 250MB Became OBSOLETE just a few years after coming out!
