Research & Development Parties: Centre for Wireless Communications Centre for Wireless Communications, CWC, is a top research unit of the Telecommunications laboratory in the University of Oulu, with appr. 100 Research scientists and post graduates CWC Kainuu is now a unit of five Research scientists in Vuokatti, with research focus areas in wireless data transfer in Vehicle information systems, and sports- and wellbeing applications CWC Kainuu is participating in the ALMA and Tuiske projects of the Kainuu VIS-program, in cooperation with VTT and other local actors CWC Kainuu has also realized a real time wireless data transfer and measurement system in the MEWEX project, which focuses on whole body vibration measurements www.kajak.fi/vis
