Knights of Columbus Programs Church Activities As Catholics we are expected to be active in building a strong parish, Church and community. As Knights of Columbus we should be the lead organization to do this. Church activities enable you and other members of your parish to grow in your faith and set a standard for others to follow. Support Vocations (Featured Program) • Lady of Guadalupe Program Building the Domestic Church • Clergy Appreciation Dinners Keep Christ In Christmas • Alter server Appreciation Events Marian Prayer Program • Parish grounds cleanup

Knights of Columbus Programs Church Activities Faith formation groups • Corporate communions Sponsor holy hours • Sponsor Eucharistic adorations Bible groups and discussions • Rosary making and distribution Teach religious education to children and / or Adults (RCIA) Sponsor and / or participate in parish retreats Volunteer as lectors, ushers, and / or Eucharistic ministers and / or participate in the music ministry WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHURCH ACTIVITIES IN WHICH YOUR COUNCIL HAS PARTICIPATED?

Knights of Columbus Programs Council Activities Council activities are intended to instill a sense of fraternity when members and their families come together in a project that is intended to form unity by linking all family and extended family in some way. Knights of Columbus Programs Culture of life activities It is the role of all Catholics and Knights of Columbus. especially, to defend the dignity of each Human Being at every stage of life. We should work to build a culture of life and a civilization of love. As knights, we should stand by and be willing to assist any pregnant woman in need, provide care for elderly persons, assist those with mental / physical challenges and bring attention to to the injustices of abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, and assisted suicide. Ultrasound Initiative (Featured Program) • March For Life (Featured Program) Participate in the Knights of Columbus Day of Prayer for the Unborn Child Support the local hospice by raising funds or volunteering

The Knights of Columbus offers families a chance to strengthen and build stronger bonds by bringing families closer together in charitable and entertaining activities. Knights of Columbus Programs Youth Activities Youth are our future. Effective youth activities teach young people valuable life lessons on leadership, responsibility, morality and compassion.
