Gladiators Gladiators are slaves who fight for the Emperors entertainment . They believe that the gods like to watch aswell . The most popular weapon was a three headed spear and a fishing net. The stadiums had trap doors to spring animals in to the arena.

Who were the famous Romans? In 59bc Julius Ceaser was put in charge of an army to conquer the War like tribes of Gaul . In 43 ad the Emperor Claudious decided to Invade Britain . Julius Ceaser was the most powerful man then was Murdered in 44bc.

Who were the Romans? In Rome there were rich people , poor people and slaves. The most powerful person was the Emperor. Romans were the second longest living Empire. At Rome’s largest it stretched across Western Europe all the way to the middle East and Northern Africa.

What did the Romans do for us ? Romans built a network of roads for long distance travel which connected different areas of land in a new way. The Romans gave us Language ,laws and a legal system. They gave us central heating, straight roads and concrete.

What was the Roman diet? The romans ate mice which they cought in their home and And they drank a lot of wine so they got drunk a lot . They Went hunting a lot and ate them when they got back to their house.

Glossary Invade : where someone attacks another place. Roman; a soldier who is very good in battle. Road; a long path where vehicles or people ride. Diet; where someone tries not to eat unhealthy food.
