Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program What is 2015 -2016 About? The BELT Program Officers Planning Guide Membership Program

What is the BELT Program? Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program What is the BELT Program? Brotherhood Education Leadership Tradition

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Brotherhood Brotherhood is the bonding of men of various backgrounds, beliefs, places, and eras around a singular set of life-directing commitments.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Brotherhood This is what allows me to share brotherhood with men my age and younger, and with men who are much older. It allows me to be a brother with someone I disagree with politically, religiously, or in any other way. Because instead of being based on personalities and friendship, brotherhood is based on shared obligations.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Brotherhood A brotherhood is weak or strong based on the degree to which the obligations are made and maintained. A brother is a good brother if he follows the obligations and helps others follow them as well.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Brotherhood Brotherhood has to be maintained, Constantly! For the rest of your life. If you choose to stop adhering to the obligations you made, then you fall out of the brotherhood. You stop being a brother, even if your name still appears in the directory.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Brotherhood Brotherhood is a sacred privilege. It's not easy to maintain.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Brotherhood Why is brotherhood difficult to define? Because when done right, it is extraordinary. For those with whom we’ve forged a connection that’s deeper than just beers on Saturday nights, or watching sporting events together.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Brotherhood It’s a connection that begins on the day we spoke the obligations that made each of us a member of the masonic family. Those obligations made us brothers. And for as long as we pledge to stay true to those obligations, and help each other stay true as well, brothers is what we’ll remain.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Education Why is education one of our primary focuses? By improving Masonic education within our Chapters, we will personally, gain in knowledge of the craft of Freemasonry and help to improve retention of our brethren. Masonic Education: This is how Freemasonry has survived through the centuries from its members teaching other members.

Grand Royal Arch of Texas 2015 – 2016 Program Education Education is an important aspect of Freemasonry. Masonic education takes three primary forms: 1. Ritual 2. Lectures 3. Literature from all sources, including Masonic
