Endangered Animals Indus River Dolphin

Physical Characteristics It is grey. It has slimy skin. It has a little bit of hair. It has a beak shaped mouth.

Habitat It lives in the Indus River. It lives in muddy waters. It lives where it is really deep.

Diet It eats fish. It eats crustaceans. It eats a lot of small fish.

Enemies It’s enemy is a shark. It’s enemy can also be any other big fish. It does not like to live with any other dolphins.

Natural Defenses It can swim really fast. It has really sharp teeth. It can use camouflage.

Reasons They Are Endangered They are endangered because of boat propellers. They are also endangered because they are hunted for their skin. Another reason is because some people or animals eat dolphins.

What We Can Do To Help We can take boats in shallow water. We can use boats without propellers. People should stop eating them.
