Assessment Claims for ELA / Literacy “Students can demonstrate progress toward college and career readiness in English Language arts and literacy.” Overall Claim (Gr. 3-8) Overall Claim (High School) “Students can demonstrate college and career readiness in English language arts and literacy.” Reading “Students can read closely and analytically to comprehend a range of increasingly complex literary and informational texts.” Writing “Students can produce effective and well-grounded writing for a range of purposes and audiences.” Note the level of depth and connection that each claim is actually asking. Digital Library Features One Stop: The Digital Library will have links to all test engine systems through a single sign-on with user permission levels so teachers, parents, and students have access to all of the curriculum and professional learning resources.
