DRC File Business Rules Students in grades 3 – 12. Student’s first name and last name are not missing. Special characters in a student’s name (except dashes and apostrophes) have been removed. The student’s birthday is no earlier than Jan 1, 1992 and no later than Dec 31, 2007. The student’s school entry date, district entry date, and state entry date form a valid combination. For students remaining after applying rules 1 - 5, the student ID must be reported by only one LEA.  When more than one LEA reports a student, the following rules will be applied:

DRC File Business Rules (Continued) The student is reported at one or more Occupational (part-time) CTC and one other LEA of any type. DRC will receive the record submitted by the other LEA. The student is reported at one Comprehensive (full-time) CTC and one or more school districts.  DRC will receive the record submitted by the Comprehensive (full-time) CTC. The student is reported at one IU and one or more school districts.  DRC will receive the record submitted by the IU. The student is reported at one charter school and one or more school districts.  DRC will receive the record submitted by the charter school. The student is reported at one APS and one or more school districts.  DRC will receive the record submitted by the APS. The student is reported at one PRRI and one or more school districts.  DRC will receive the record submitted by the PRRI. The student is reported by multiple school districts, DRC will receive the record submitted by the district with the latest district entry date.
