Jacob moves to Bethel Genesis 35 Jacob was afraid Canaanites & Perizzites would attack, but God put a great terror on them – 34:30-35:5 Jacob had his household remove their idols & purify themselves – vs. 2-4

Conclusions The hope of a promised redeemer goes through the line of Seth to Noah, then Shem to Abram, who receives the covenant, which is given to Isaac, not Ishmael, then to Jacob, not Esau

Conclusions God worked patiently in lives of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob as they learned to trust Him. God works the same way with us. The sooner we learn to trust the Lord, the faster we mature
