Roosevelt child hood. Early life Was born in New York. October 27, 1885. He was home schooled because of his illness and asthma. The specimen leads 8-year-old Theodore to begin the Roosevelt Museum of Natural History. When he got glasses he was surprised, he said I did not know how beautiful the world was. Collage and Experiences At 18 he left Harvard. Then studied at Germany for a year. He also went to Columbia Law School. But before all that he started of studding natural history. He was set on becoming a politician, but before that he had graduated from Harvard University

Jobs before Spanish War He was president of the New York city board of Police commision. Also an ardent believer in the wild outdoor. He became a New York assembly representitive. He became the youngest to serve in that position. President Harrison after his election in 1889, appointed Roosevelt as a member of the Civil Service Commission of which he later became president.

Spanish War Stories He lead his army up san Juan Hill IN The battle of San Juan Heights in 1898. He was a hero and nominated for the Congressional Medal of Honor.

How did he become president? he was elected governor in 1898. he held vice president less than a year. In 1904 Roosevelt was elected full term President after the assassination of President McKinley.

Why was he a famous President? While in office he stopped the Russo Japanese War. From that he saved a lot of people.

How did William Taft become President? Roosevelt and Taft went through everything together. So from that Roosevelt choose him to be President. That is why Roosevelt choose him

Were did Roosevelt go after being president Through everything he been through he started to travel around. So he went to an African Safari. Roosevelt also went on a famous hunting trip in the Amazon, an adventure that nearly killed him. His health never fully recovered.

Why did Roosevelt come back? He came back because Taft. Roosevelt’ though Taft had a weak enforcements of Progressive policies. He began to have second thoughts and was reluctant to give up the Presidency but did so. By 1912, he was even more sure that he could do a better job than president Taft and tried to get the Republican nomination. After he failed at that, he formed his own party

Bull moose party So Roosevelt started a Bull Moose party. He started campaign for the election in 1902. But while delivering his speech for the Bull Moose party he got shot in the chest but continued for 90 more seconds. But he lost to Wilson Woodrow.
