Dubai Location Dubai is one of the seven emirates(酋长国) of the United Arab Emirates(UAE)(阿拉伯联合酋长国). It is located south of the Persian Gulf(波斯湾) and has the largest land territory(领土) of all the emirates, after Abu Dhabi(阿布扎比).

Dubai Culture Culture in Dubai is rooted in Islamic. However, the UAE is tolerant and welcoming to foreigners who do not practice the religion of Islam. Women don’t face discrimination. Courtesy(礼貌) and hospitality(好客) are one of the many virtues of Dubai. Rulers are keen to maintain their culture and do so through a number of practices.

Dubai Culture · The official language of the country is Arabic, however most people in and out of the workplace communicate in English. There are so many different nationalities in Dubai, English finds common ground with most people. The majority of road and shop signs, restaurant menus etc. are in both English and Arabic. · Dubai is a cosmopolitan(世界性的) city and visitors can dress however they like. Still, a good amount of respect for local customs is appreciated.

PART FOUR Tourism Dubai is a very beautiful city, it has a lot of unique attractions in this world. Dubai is a new city, you can feel more convenience which are brought by the high-tech. So Dubai is a product of the modern human wisdom.

Dubai Burj Khalifa Tower (哈利法塔) Tourism · Burj Khalifa Tower is the tallest building in the world. · There are 162 layers, the total height of it is 828 meters. It began to built on September 21, 2004, completed on January 4, 2010. · The 124th floor of this building is an observatory(瞭望台), visitors standing in the above can overlook the whole city. · Standing in the upper of the tower, you’ll feel it should not be a product of the earth, but the gift of God.

Dubai Palm Island (棕榈岛) Tourism · Palm Island is the island group which consists of four islands which is the world’s largest man-made island. · Seen from high above island, like two large palm floating in the blue sea, this is the origin of its name. But in fact, they are made of large and small islands.

Dubai BurjAL-Arab Hotel (迪拜伯瓷酒店) Tourism BurjAL-Arab hotel is the most luxurious hotel in the world. The most important thing is that it is the world’s first and only 8 star hotel.
