SunTrac & Daikin Field Test Results In 2016, a SunTrac System was integrated and tested with a high efficiency Daikin 2Ton DC inverted variable speed mini-split system. Goodman/Daikin conducted the evaluation, and compared the two week’s worth of data (one week with the panel and one without), at identical ambient conditions. The SunTrac/Daikin system used 47% less electricity that the standard Daikin system. SunTrac saved 47%!
