Mood The feeling that I had when I read this book was very sad and some times even irate Just all around I felt sorrow and upset

Tone The Attitude of the author towards the readers is he is very serious He tells the readers that this is not just a joke about child abuse this really happed to him and to prove it he is what the book is about

Fiction This story is realistic fiction because this is about the authors child hood and this was really his life story as a child

Personal response My personal response to this book is that I enjoyed the book I could not put it down. I would recommend it if your are looking for a good book but it goes to show that child abuse is not a game it’s a very serious matter. the characters actions bothered me a little bit because if I had a child I would not be able to do what this mother did to her son.
