“NAFTA is the worse trade deal ever.”

NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) 1994 Promised to create 200,000 new American jobs from increased exports Nearly 1 million U.S. jobs have been sent to Mexico for lower wages U.S. commodity exports to Mexico caused the demise of thousands of Mexican farms, creating a surge of immigrants to the U.S., desperate to find work Agricultural trade imbalances in fruits and vegetables tripled within 5 years of NAFTA, contributing to the loss of 170,000 American farms (Over a 20% decrease)

Presidential Candidate and former Secretary of State in 2012, Hillary Clinton said while on a trip to Australia “This TPP sets the gold standard in trade agreements to open free, transparent, fair trade, the kind of environment that has the rule of law and a level playing field.”
