Alter-not-a-one Alternaria alternata origami spore Created by Jun Tsuji

Step 1. Fold, crease, and cut-off the extra paper to make a triangle. Step 2. Bring the two 45⁰ corners together and crease to make a smaller triangle.

Step 3. Open the top triangle, move the left corner to the right corner, & flatten to make a square. Flip the paper over. Step 4. Open the triangle, move the right corner to the left corner, & flatten to make another square.

Step 5. With the open end of the square oriented downwards, fold the right side to the center and crease. Step 6. Fold the left side to the center and crease. Flip the paper over.

Step 7. Fold the right side to the center and crease. Step 8. Fold the left side to the center and crease.

Step 9. Fold the right side to the center and crease. Step 10. Fold the left side to the center and crease. Flip the paper over.

Step 11. Fold the right side to the center and crease. Step 12. Fold the left side to the center and crease.

Step 13. Insert fingers between side folds. Blow air through the hole at the pointed end to inflate. Step 14 (optional). Add lines for the septa.
