vs Windows User: Generic user name, i.e. class (SOM), engin (Engineering) + Internet Access - using WebMail only - No printer management - Local My Documents (c:/ and a:/) Domain User: UM-D uniquename + Internet Access + using Netscape Messenger + Central My Documents (h:/) accessible from all LDAP PCs + Printer management ( printer account through registrar’s office )

Problem: You tried to use LDAP and it didn’t work! Solution: You need to change your password to sync up your uniquename with the new Samba Domain server - Select the My Account button - Login - Click on the Password link - Follow the instructions to change your password
