2 Intercultural Communication Competence ‒ “The ability to develop targeted knowledge, skills, and attitudes that lead to visible behavior and communication that are both effective” (Deardoff, 2006). ‒ Globalized Economy demands strong candidates for successful cross-cultural interactions. ‒ Up to 60% Expatriate Failure Rate (Harris, Moran, & Moran, 2004).
