READING PRACTICE Help Your Children Succeed with Powerful

We determine the child’s ZPD—a level where children will succeed, build stamina and gain confidence. We set personalized monthly reading practice goals! You make time for your child to read and encourage them to achieve the goals!

Your child takes the AR quizzes at school to see if they understand what they read. You receive an immediately after your child finishes the quiz so that you know if he or she understood the story. The process begins again!

BL = 4.0 Points = 9 Points = 13 Points =.5

Help students choose appropriate books. Know that POINTS simply represent effort and the numbers of words read. Look over the book’s vocabulary list if there is one. Guide the student regularly through the MONTH to be sure he or she is on track to reach the goal by the end of the month without last minute pressure! Read with your children or listen to them read. Talk about what they are reading!

Add titles to AR BookBag to create book lists. Easily refine your search for any criteria listed. Search for both Fiction/Nonfiction titles, including Interest Level and ATOS Book Level

Look online for the chosen books at the library and send each title to your local branch. Pick them up and your child will have plenty of the right books to read!

Make your URL address an icon or a favorite on the home computers!

Parent Involvement

Each child can have 6 people following progress! View books child has read.
