Key aims for the day To learn about the latest figures in relation to LAC’s educational achievements. To know who is a LAC and why, difference care orders and role of Children’s Social Care. To raise awareness of Attachment and its impact on education. The impact of Care Matters legislation on the role of the DT for LAC. To learn about PEPs and the Pupil Premium. How to support LAC in school. The opportunity to meet other Designated Teachers and LACES staff. The opportunity to share good practice and raise key issues affecting LAC in your setting. An opportunity to discuss ideas for cascading LAC information to other members of staff.
