Announcements City Harvest Food Drive Next Monday, October 31, is School Spirit Day. Thursday and Friday are Parent/Teacher conferences College Preparatory Workshop with Ms. Persaud, next Tuesday, November 1 st.

LITERARY ELEMENT: In Medias Res In Medias Res means "into the middle of things.” A narrative that begins somewhere in the middle of the story— usually at some important point in the action.

Homework Since “The Tell-Tale Heart” begins in medias res, write the beginning of the story. How did the narrator become insane? How did he grow to hate the narrator? What was he like before he was crazy? Your prequel should be at least 2 paragraphs. Write or type this on a separate sheet of paper. I will collect it tomorrow.
