Why I love Second Grade By: Ivan Byju June

Introduction  Imagine being in second grade.  You would have a really nice teacher like Mrs. King.  Let’s learn about second grade.

Math  If you are in Mrs. King’s math class you get to learn fractions, multiplication and division.  If you work really hard you can go to 3rd grade math.  For example 21/44, 4 x 3=12 and 15 ÷ 3 = 5.  You get to play fun math games on the portaportal.

Science  In science you get painted lady butterflies.  You get to adopt one of the butterflies and observe it.  You get to write about your butterfly in your butterfly journal.

Thanksgiving Program  In the Thanksgiving program you get to dress up like a pilgrim.  You get to do fun songs like Albuquerque Turkey.  And you get to tell the crowd about the pilgrims.

Conclusion  I hope you like second grade as much I did.  You will be happy each day while you are here.
