Biblical Perspective on Work  Obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. Col. 3:23

 What does the Bible say about rest?

Biblical Worldview on Rest  Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. Exodus 20:8-10

Biblical Worldview on Rest  Don't wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. – Prov. 23:4
