Brittany, France Some of his early works were landscapes painted of the beautiful countryside and peasant life in Brittany, France.

He also created woodcuts Woodcuts are… Prints made out of designs that are cut into a block of wood. Ink is rolled onto the block and then the paper is pressed against the block with the ink.
