FOOD TECHNOLOGY Design a Healthy Pizza

WALT - Learn how to complete a design sheet to develop a new product. Be able to produce a Timeplan. Plan for the next practical lesson. WILF Listening skills, extended answers to questioning, understanding of healthy modifications to redesign a Pizza. FOOD TECHNOLOGY

What do we mean by ‘Healthy?’ 1.Provides a portion(s) of your recommended 5 a day. 2.Contains source of vitamins and minerals 3.Foods with low levels of fat, sugar and salt

Try to add at least 2 fruits or vegetables

FOOD TECHNOLOGY Only use cooked meats or fish for your Pizza, do not add raw meats as they will not cook properly e.g. cooked ham, cooked turkey, Tuna Don’t use pepperoni as it contains too much fat!
