Who We Are John Burns – Partner in the Commerce, Technology & Media team and heads up the firm’s sports sector. John has acted for a wide range of sports clients including football clubs, agents, sportsmen and leading sports brands. John's experience spans advising on the protection and exploitation of personality rights and drafting and negotiating a vast range of commercial agreements including merchandising and sponsorship agreements. John acts for both brand owners and licensees and has acted in some of the biggest deals in sport, including multi million pound kit and licensing agreements and advising on the naming rights of new stadia. Conor Hannon – Solicitor in the commercial team and specialises in commercial contracts and intellectual property. Conor gained invaluable experience of sports related contracts, particularly sponsorship agreements and brand protection issues after undertaking a six month secondment at Everton Football Club.
