ᓯᕗᒧᑦ ᐊᕝᓗᖅᑕ Sivumut Abluqta The vision of Sivumut Abluqta is to see the responsible management and development of natural resources that benefits Nunavummiut. ᓂᕆᐅᒋᔭᐅᔪᑦ ᓯᕗᒧᑦ ᐊᕝᓗᖅᑕ−ᑯᓐᓄᑦ ᑕᑯᒍᒪᓪᓗᑎᒃ ᐊᐅᓚᑦᓯᑦᓯᐊᕐᓂᕐᒥ ᐱᕙᓪᓕᐊᑎᑦᓯᓂᕐᒥᓪᓗ ᓄᓇᒥᐅᑕᓅᖓᔪᓄᑦ ᐱᕚᓪᓕᕈᑕᐅᒍᓐᓇᖅᑐᓄᑦ ᓄᓇᕗᒻᒥᐅᓄᑦ. It is intended to guide that development in the period leading up to the devolution of management responsibilities for lands and resources from the federal government. The Strategy rests securely on the following four Pillars. Traditional Inuit knowledge is incorporated into modern everyday practices.
