Keith Haring I don't think art is propaganda; it should be something that liberates the soul, provokes the imagination and encourages people to go further. It celebrates humanity instead of manipulating it.

What is Art?  What constitutes good art?  How is good art recognised and decided upon?  Who decides what is Art?  What is its purpose?  What is it’s role in society?  Why have artists? Write your own personal definition with examples of artworks and other peoples’ quotations to provide evidence for your argument. Remember to acknowledge your sources. Find some of your own examples!! Don’t be lazy!
