6th Grade Math Curriculum for Department of Curriculum and Instruction

The state has updated the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Math At every grade level, current TEKS have been shifted down to lower grades and newly written TEKS were added 6th grade math has 55% more content than in previous years- the largest impact of all K-12 math courses Students who are in this class are being prepared to take the 6th grade Math STAAR New standards = increased rigor
