Passing the Thai PBO Bill –A majority of MPs do not want to scrutinize the government, hence show no interest in PBO (if not being actively opposed). –A need to ‘go slow’, waiting until networking and awareness programs prove successful.

15 The House of Representatives established a “PBO” under the administrative office in March This unit will have a total of 31 positions, but now has 19 staff members. Allow hiring external professionals to work and train PBO staff according to the PBO’s mandate. These staff members are now participating in the Training of Trainers Program (April-June 2015), run by KPI and TDRI.
