Originally known simply as the Organization, it arose in the 1970s as reformed New York City gang members began to organize cultural events for youths, combining local dance and music movements into what would become known as the various elements of hip hop culture.hip hop culture

Zulu Nation: Early rap included 5 elements into the hip-hop culture MC'ing ( "Rapping" - rap) DJ'ing Graffiti (Writing) Dancing (Breaking, Up-Rocking, Popping, Locking) Knowledges. Bambaataa used this term to signify that there is a lack of knowledge about hip-hop culture.

Grandmaster Flash Creation of the term hip hop is often credited to rapper Keith Cowboy, after a discharge with the army, imitated the marching style with the repeated words, “Hip, Hop, Hip, Hop...” Rapped with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

DJ Hollywood Lovebug Starski, Keith Cowboy, and DJ Hollywood used the term when the music was still known as disco rap—because it was spoken over disco records. How did these work out together and why?

DJ Kool Herc devises the term “B-Boy” Soon Kool Herc for the convenience of the dancers began to repeat the instrumental breaks between verses, during which the dancers came out to the dance-floor and showed their skills. Kool Herc marked the enthusiasm of the dancers for such breaks, and named the term "B-Boy", "Break boys" - for those who are moving in the manner of breaks, and the dance was called breakdancing style (breaking)."
