Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 The Age of Exploration  Use page 324 to explain the age of exploration. How did the world change during this time? What do you believe the explorers were thinking when they found this new land?

The Age of Exploration  The age of exploration began as Europeans searched for a quicker & easier trade route to Asia.  Curiosity, advanced technology, & high demand for silks & spices from Asia caused the age of exploration.  Spain was the first country to successfully reach the America’s as they PAID FOR Christopher Columbus FIRST (MAIDEN) voyage.

Essential Question 9/14/2016  What impact did travel by sea have on the world?
