In 1945, President Truman was faced with an important decision: Drop atomic bomb(s) on Japan or prepare for an all-out land invasion. Which option would you choose if the decision was yours to make? Which option will have a greater effect on civilians? Which option is likely to cost more American soldier lives? Explain your answer: Do Now 4/08/16:
