Majority (29/44) felt that there were inadequate venues for publishing education scholarship. Respondents identified 24 different venues where they had been most successful in publishing education scholarship^ Most common = West JEM, AEM, MedEd Portal Suggested interventions:*^ Additional education supplements in journals (8.31) Central online repository of publication venues (6.88) Online training in medical education research design/methodology (6.75) Online networking site of education researchers (6.28) * (mean rating on 10 point scale); 1= not at all helpful, 10= very helpful ^ n= 33 (respondents who had not published education scholarship were excluded)

EM education leaders do not uniformly publish education scholarship. There is a perceived lack of venues for this work. Multiple barriers as well as potential strategies for success have been identified. This information may inform interventions to support educators in dissemination of their scholarly work.
