Observation Skills Homework

Observation: You love to garden and you notice that some tomatoes are larger than others.  Qualitative data  The color of the tomatoes.  The taste of the tomatoes; are some sweeter than others?  The appearance of the vine; deep green? Fading to brown?  Quantitative data  The height of each tomato plant.  The average size of the tomatoes on each plant.  The number of tomatoes on each plant.

What questions could I formulate based on my observations?  Does the amount of sunlight a tomato plant receives affect the size of the tomatoes?  Are some tomato plants getting more water than the others?  Was fertilizer used for growing the tomatoes?  Were the tomato plants grown from the same type of seed?
