 My footprint in planets is  My carbon footprint is

 Use rechargeable batteries to reduce your carbon footprint by up to 1,000 pounds over the life of the batteries.  Use cold water to wash and rinse clothes.  Only heat rooms in your house that are in use.  Unplug your phone charger when not in use.  When cooking don’t overfill saucepans and pots.

 Use recycled toilet paper and paper.  Take advantage of natural daylight as much as possible.  Re-use zip top bags.  Donate or recycle your old clothing rather than throwing it away.  Avoid products with multiple layer of packing.

 Make compost.  Take a shower instead of a bath.  Switch off lights in rooms at home when leaving the room  Use reusable bags for grocery shopping.  Use both sides of the page to print or copy.

 I pledge to mother earth to take care of my earth and to not use so much light or electricity. I will try to unplug any connections not in use.

 Thank you Mr. Duffy and St. Pius for making me aware about my carbon footprint. I learned a lot of things about this. I learned that using less electronics and light will lower our carbon footprint.
