Who is a farmer ? The person who is engaged in agricultural work on their own farms is called a farmer.

He/she earns by farming in the fields.

A farmer is the most important person in our country.

They grow rice, wheat, jute,tea and others crops. What crops do they grow ?

He leads a vey miserable life. How is his life style.

He works hard from dawn to dusk. When does he work ?

He ploughs the land, sows the seeds, waters the plants and takes good care of the crops. What is the responsibility of a farmer ?

But he can hardly keep body and soul together. He lives in poverty.

Though he supplies food for the whole nation, he cannot eat enough.

A farmer contributes a lot to our economy. The development of the country depends on the development of the farmer.

They supply raw materials for the industries. The farmer is overjoyed if he reaps a good harvest.

But it pains him most when he sells his crops at a very cheap rate.

To save our economy, the farmers should be helped. What should the government does for the farmer ?
