Why use Voki? Voki is a highly engaging tool that offers the creation of a talking avatar Teachers can use Voki to deliver small bits of instruction or reinforce a main point Students can use Voki to demonstrate their knowledge of main concepts, or summarize content learned

How to use Voki Visit Follow the online instructions to create an account. Click "Create"

How to use Voki To change the appearance of the avatar, experiment with any of the three options under the "Customize Your Character" box. At any time, clicking the die will cause the Voki to randomize. Click "backgrounds" to change the scenery behind the Voki. For advanced users, a file may be uploaded for the background.

How to use Voki To change the border around the voki, click "players" and choose the style and color. The colors of all of these elements may be changed with the box in the lower left of the screen.

How to use Voki To add sound, click "Give it a Voice" and experiment with the options available for the Voki voice. a. The telephone icon offers the option of recording your own voice via a telephone call. b. The text key offers the option of typing the words into the computer and choosing a voice. c. The microphone allows recording of a person's voice into the Voki. d. The file option allows uploading of an audio file.

How to use Voki When your Voki is complete, click "Publish." Name your Voki and click “save.” The Voki may now be uploaded to many popular social media sites or the code may be copied and embedded into another website. The Voki may also be shared via to a specific person
