Preposition A preposition connects one word in a sentence to another word in a sentence. AND It tells us about three things: time, place, and direction.

Example: The beanstalk towered over Jack’s house.

Example: Our tickets were located under the main stage.

Write down the preposition in each sentence. 1.I jumped into the water. 2.She told a bunch of stories. 3.Jose bought an ice-cream with sprinkles. 4.They walked into the room. 5.The plane flew across the sky. 6.Mom made a sandwich for me. 7.I dropped a penny into the fountain. 8.He left without a word.
