Federal Leadership MOU  Initiated by Interagency Workgroup, championed by White House OFEE  Signed by 19 agencies representing 95% of Federal building portfolio.  Interagency task force developing guidance to implement MOU.  Flagship Federal effort to define guiding principles of green building  The signatories are committed to leading the federal sector in the design, construction, and operation of buildings by: Reducing the total ownership costs of facilities; Reducing the total ownership costs of facilities; Improving energy efficiency and water conservation; Improving energy efficiency and water conservation; Providing safe, healthy, and productive built environments; and, Providing safe, healthy, and productive built environments; and, Promoting sustainable environmental stewardship.
