Local Educational Agency (LEA) Survey Results

Background: In January 2014, the Office of School Improvement (OSI) administered an online survey to local educational agencies (LEAs) associated with schools: Rated Accredited with Warning/Denied Accreditation/Provisionally Accredited; Identified as Focus Schools per the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) flexibility waiver; Identified as Priority Schools per the ESEA flexibility waiver; and/or Identified as Title I/Non-Title I and required to develop an improvement plan. The purpose of the survey was to gather feedback from the LEA regarding services received from their assigned OSI contractor(s). There was a six-week survey window resulting in a 51.8% response rate.

Question: Describe the schools in your division that are served by an OSI contractor. (Check all that apply) Accredited with Warning88.10% Provisionally Accredited – Graduation Rate4.76% Title I/Non-Title I Schools Required to Develop an Improvement Plan 40.48% Focus Schools40.48% Priority Schools11.90%
